I live in vegas i know its illegal to have them on when i drive, but i want to know if it will put points on my license or is it like a parking ticket/fix it ticket?? what would the ticket say (unlawful lights) lol. cops have seen my lights before, and they did the hand across the neck thing like (cut um off). but i have never been pulled over for it? there blue neons so very noticeable!!

there are a lot of rules that vary by state. such as, they have to be so many inches below your headlights and so many inches aove the ground, the actual bulbs cannot be visible, and some other tedious stuff like that. if you look at the package on something you want to put on your vehicle and it says "off-road use only" that is the manufacturer's way of not having to make it legal in all 50 states. you actually have to call your courthouse or policestation to find out the rules in nevada. or just ask a cop and they are usually pretty nice about it. |

they are illegal in a lot of states. blue lights and red lights are illegal because they look like police lights. it's a moving violation. depends on the state whether it's a fix it ticket or not. |
