I plan to school in California (where I'm currently living) and MIGHT go move to Nevada. If I complete the police academy in California, and decide to move to Nevada, can I be an officer there, or do I have to take training for that state again?

You will need to get certified in Nevada once you move there. You may be allowed to take an abbreviated academy since you are already certified in CA. Contact a large agency in Nevada and ask to speak with their recruiting Officer. The recruiter could explain this to you and tell you what to expect.
I have done this several times. Inn the early 90's I moved from NC (where I was certified) to MS and took a Police job. I had to get certified in MS. Then in 2001 I moved back to NC and had to take 100 hours of academy classes (instead of the 16 week academy) to get my NC certification. |

nope you have to go through another police academy. or you have to take a state test . that's what happened to me ( florida ) to TX hope that helps but you can always ask your instructor |
