How about you don't drink and drive and then you have nothing to worry about. |

I hope you do get pulled over! Be responsible, don't drink & drive! |

Just the fact that that you asked that question makes me say... well, yes, yes you should refuse. What can they do to a genius like you? In fact, don't give them the opportunity to "ask" you. When the cops try to pull you over, drive like the wind and get away. Smart guy like you, they'll never catch you. |

if you are not drinking.

When you signed for your license, you agreed to take the test. You could lose your license for 6 months to 1 year depending on location. Even if you do refuse, there are other ways of getting your BAC. If you do refuse, there is still an implied consent hearing. Observations alone from an experienced Officer could prove that you were under the influence. Do you feel lucky? |

Yes, but they will automatically suspend your license. You need to take a cab there and back. If you kill someone on the road you will fell like an *** the rest of your life, and with this much forethought, I would say you need to go to rehab. |

If you want to make the officer's job easy, you will. Refusal of a breath test is evidence of intoxication.
There are also added penalties for refusal, and in some states, such as Wisconsin, they are authorized to take your blood by force if necessary, without a warrant.
In Michigan, they get a search warrant, and if you still refuse, you are looking at criminal contempt of court. |

are you on your way over here to watch family guy?
kick the cop in the nads and drive that Pinto as fast as you can...i'm waiting!!! |

I wouldn't, but if you do, the police still have the option of giving you a urine or blood test. In the state of California, I
think its an automatic loss of your driver's license for refusing. |

I don't know, but please do not drive drunk tonight!
You could quite likely end up in a car accident and you could get injured, possibly permanently, or you could even get killed. Wouldn't dying or being permanently maimed be a heavy price to pay just for the convenience of not bothering to stay sober when you are going to drive somewher? And then there's the fact that you could kill innocent people while driving drunk. I know people like you don't usually care about others (or you wouldn't drive drunk), but keep in mind that if you injure or kill someone you could be facing a few years in prison.
If you do drive drunk tonight (or ever) I hope you go to prison and your license gets permanently revoked. |

no, just get the policeman to take it for you on your behalf. |

Your call. Implied consent in all states. Refuse and lose your license anyway |

Every state is different! In NC refusing revokes you license for one year no matter what! But if you refuse to do any and all test your attorney will have more to work with! |

Frankly Speaking

Depends on what state your in.
In Florida a DUI conviction stays on your record for 75year.
After that though, your all clear!
Roll the dice man....what could happen? |

Sweetheart, I don't think they'll pull you over on your big wheel, but just in case--yup, refuse it. |

Mad Scientist

Are you planning on getting a DUI tonight? |

Umbrella Expert for Hire

No, they'll test your blood instead and cut up your license on th spot. You get to keep your license if you take the breathalyzer. Or at least I did. |
|

Under most state laws, if you do they can immediately revoke your license for a considerable period of time. |
