We usually don't call first... you might get mail from the clerk.
Depending on your charge and your history, there could be one to five officers to come 'take you' in.
My suggestion... go to the PD or jail and surrender on the warrant... that might help when you go to court.

Because you're physically large you think that police officers would be afraid to serve a warrant on you? I bet a shot to the common peroneal would bring you down fast enough. I'm pretty sure you've asked similar questions that involve your size and law enforcement. Get a hint, you're not intimidating anyone.

I don't know the procedures as to how many it is required to serve a warrant, but I am pretty sure it would only take one. The fact that you are tall and overweight shouldn't have any bearing on it.

at least 2 will be present when they knock on your door. this is usually done for legal reasons to corroborate stories, etc. If this was not done the arrestee could claim, abuse, groping, rape, etc....

They will already know your height and weight, and they will bring along enough officers to safely take you down and take you into custody.

They are not going to call on the phone for sure. Regardless if you are even bigger than late Andre the Giant if cops will come to serve you with a warrant, I strongly suggest to obey them and do not be stupid to resist. They will take you in easy way or the hard way regardless of your size.

It doesn't matter how big you are, they will take you down one way or another.

They are trained for this stuff....then, there's always the K9 corps.....those well-trained dogs are great equalizers.
