Antarctica is divided up into spheres of influence by common international consent (i.e. UK, USA, Argentina, Russia, etc.). By agreement each country enforces its own laws in its own area. If you were to murder someone in the UK zone, you would face UK justice and trial back in the UK. . |

It depends on where in Antarctica the murder took place. There are several bases there, and certain places fall under the jurisdiction of the Country that claims it. You may be tried in that Countries courts. If not, the majority of Antarctica is governed by Treaties between countries. These treaties contain language for administering justice on the continent. The UN is responsible for some of the continent. Either way, you would be held responsible for your actions. |

There are territorial claims on Antarctica. Depending on which area it is you would be prosecuted under that countries laws, or be dealt with as an individual under high law. |

If no one knows, well , then obviously not. But if people find out, there are international treaties that deal with all types of crimes, whether committed on the high seas or in uncharted land.
So, it really just depends if anyone finds out/can prove it (sort of like with any murder)
