After 2 hours they most likely would have gotten you. They most likely put out a BOLO. That stands for "Be on look out", so if cops see your car you will most likely be caught, i suggest finding another ride for about a week. Be careful out there, i have a fast truck (about 400 hp) and its hard to keep it reeled in, i learned my lesson a long time ago when i got caught doing 120+ in a 70. |

If he got your plate, he knows where you live (or at least where the registered owner of the car lives.) If you were doing something dumb, chances are there will be a knock at your door. Kinda makes you wish you were caught, instead of sitting at home wondering if the police are going to come get you. |

I am inclined to think that you just got lucky, however, if the cop did get your plate number, the local law might start keeping an eye on you.
Consider it a lesson learned, and be a safe driver so you don't hurt yourself or anyone else. :-) |

it depends on how much they want you. they may be processing a warrant for your arrest or you may have gotten off. if they have your liscence then they may be on the watch for your car when you go driving next so they can pull you over. time will tell. |

Odds might be that he took a picture and you might get a ticket in the mail. If they didn't take a picture then they might have tried to find you in the area, but gave up.
Overall I wouldn't worry about it unless you get something in the mail from the Secratary of State's office. |

It's hard to say. They're the police, so they know where you live by your license tag. Time is on their side. By speeding away, you added a charge of "resisting arrest" to your offenses, but I have no idea what the priorities of your local police are or what kind of night they're having.
Cops do have to consider carefully whom they will chase. A sheriff's deputy once passed a tractor in a high-speed chase after someone who ran a stop sign. The deputy ran head-on into the truck of someone driving home from work, killing the innocent commuter instantly and leaving a 25-year-old widow.
So, on behalf of the other six billion people on earth, I'd like to ask you to not run from the police, ever. |

they can run the tag and get the address and come to your house and issue a citation or mail it...most likely they won't do anything though..dont worry about it. |

Yes this does mean you got away. It shouldnt go any further. If the cop wanted to get you and give you a ticket he would have. You are blessed that no one got hurt. Take this as a lesson learn, from someone that knows 1st hand. It doesnt pay to speed. You never know who you are driving up against. |

o yeah..p.s. and make sure that the cop doesn't use the yahoo answer thing... and find this question... and then he will trace you're IP address and go pick you up. .. hey it could happen... well that's what my friend told me. and he's like a computer geek. |

I wouldn't worry about whether you get caught or not. If you do, then justice will prevail, and you will face your punishment as you deserve. If you don't, then you'll face the punishment of your own guilt, which is infinitely worse. Either way, just look ahead to the future, and make the promise to yourself and to all of us that you'll be a citizen from now on. |

Well you probably got away this time. Were you losing the race because i would have gone for the faster one. Watch out thought depending on your state laws and how old you are you can lose your license until you turn 21 and have your impounded for 30 days or in long beach they can choose to crush your vehicle. |
