punishment if a dog pees in the street...just as unhygienic?
A dog owner gets fined for not picking up dog waste but I've never seen anything about a fine for a dog peeing in public such as pathways.

A person exposes themselves to urinate in public view. The charge s generally for exposing ones self.

As for the dog, there are a couple of reasons you don't charge a dgs owner for it's urinating.

1) A dog is an animal. Animals have been urinating outside since the beginning of time. Even id there was a way to "police" a pets urine, does that mean the state would be responsible for cleaning up the bird's urine? Or the opossum's?

2) It is impractical for an owner to clean up.

3) Urine is sterile (yes even a dogs urine). Sweating produces more urea than actual urine which is mostly water. As such the chances of urine being a bio hazard is slim (unless the animal is sick somehow).

Yes but you are aloud to poop in the street and not get fined. Also if you are bursting you may take a policeman/womans hat and piss poop or vomite in it!! Hahaha fun fact!!

Peeing is different then pooping. If a dog has to pee, he must pee. If he poops, pick it up. I am laughing as I am typing thes answer.

It helps to say which country you are in in the UK it is a specific offence for a person to urinate in the highway not a public nuisance.There is no offence if an animal does it as common sense dictates that the owner can do little to stop or pick it up afterwards.

No. The issue is that in human society, we DO NOT WATCH other humans defecate or urinate.

We are not animals.

We are humans.

We can control our bodies and actions.

Hence, we are held to a higher standard than dogs.
