You should have left a note telling the car's owner who you are.
Since you obviously did not do that there is nothing to do but wait to see if the owner, or the police, contact you.
Of course it's always possible that you did leave a note in the windshield wiper of the other car and it blew away. Then you have not committed hit and run or leaving the scene of an accident.
It's a shame that you did not think to get the license number of the car so if the other guy did not contact you you could contact him.
No one can think of everything though.

if there is damage leave a note, don't be that guy and drive away. if there's nothing drive away. |

They are right, but also get the other cars info. license plate make model. That way when they call you, the police or your ins. co. they don't try to say it was the car in their driveway with the huge dent in it. Pics with a cell phone are great too so that you can show actual damage at the time. |
