I'm not sure about Canadian Law, but that is a felony here in the US. It would certainly cause the student to be expelled, and probably do some jail time.

I can't help but wonder - do you think with with the words you used, if the NSA, CIA, or FBI - or a Canadian security agency has picked up on your question and you're now under investigation? :)

YES ABSOLUTELY it is considered to be illegal by announcing a bomb threat is already illegal in its sense. YOU DO NOT KNOW the terrorist act yet, that whoever announce or pronounce a bomb threat even without having a bomb is now considered to be a terrorist act and even if you are 15 years old you can be charge as an adult. This law is the result of 9/11 incident. I wouldn't even plan or think about doing such a threat to a school or your school for that matter unless you want to know the consequence of your action later on. You can be branded as one of the Osama Bin Laden group or Al Qaida that is still in our midst. You will not be spared just because you are merely 15 years old, remember those Palestinian who put bomb in their body and detonate them inside Israel they are as young as you or much more younger, 12 or even 14 years old. So do not tell yourself you will not be harm by the police no you are wrong. They will shoot you on shot and definitely bring you down. The police cannot even tell 15 to a 20 year old.

MAKING A JOKE out of bomb threat is really serious at this time and age because of so much bombing and threats coming from Al Qaeda and other terrorist cell through out the world. Making jokes will be your last laugh. I know you won't do such things but forewarm is forearmed.

That's an FBI matter and hell yes it's illegal. If you're caught, you WILL go to prison for many many years for terrorism. I would hope that living in Canada wouldn't be any different. You could cause someone to have a heart attack or something (I just had a heart attack three months ago).
