If i got arrested and am in the military do the police report it to the military?

Two things could happen here.

One: Yes, the Police (and the Courts) sometimes notify the Military when there are arrests or convictions.

Two: Someone in your chain of command could find out on a routine background check if it becomes necessary for some assignment (for instance, if you are being considered for a posting somewhere that requires a higher clearance than you currently have).

It might never happen, it may have already happened, and it could happen at any time. You will have to decide if the risk of being 'found out' is worse than the risk you take by disclosing it yourself.

Firstly, you have to differentiate the difference between statue law and marshaw law. If you work in the army and commit war crimes. You will follow marshaw law, because this is the law that the army follows not statue law. In a sense marshaw law is much less harsh because murder is consider as apart of a army officers duty. So in most cases people in the army get of murder charges.
So the resolve this.
If you were under duty of the army whilst you commit an offence you will not be arrested by the police but instead by the military. Because you follow marshaw law.
If you weren't under duty of the army and commit an offence you will be arrested by the police. Because you will follow statue law.
Its confusing but you should get taught this in the first 12 month of army training.

Yes, they will get ahold of your MP's and either transport you to them, or the MP's will come and take you off the hands of the local Police Department. You will be place in the Military Jail refered to as the Stockade You will spend your time in the Government Stockade.

I dealt with reports from civil authorities all of the time when I was a commander.

If you have a security clearance, then yes, they will eventually find out because clearances get updated regularly. Otherwise, don't worry too much about it.
