first the recomendation was ankle monitor but i was deniead now i was suppose to turn my self in but didnt

Since you did not turn yourself n when you were supposed to. I'm almost sure you will sit in jail until you go before the judge who will decide your fate. You can ask the judge when he asks you is there anything you would like to say on your behalf. Have a great story ready for him to hear and maybe just maybe you will get to attend classes. |

No way to tell until you turn yourself in. Certainly, you will be arrested and will spend sometime in jail, there is no way to avoid that, whether or not you are allowed to go to a programme depends on a lot of factors. You running from your obligations isn't going to help your argument for going to a programme in lieu of jail. |

You need to go to court to take care of the warrant first. Since you failed to take action in the beginning, you are going to have a hard time proving your intent to attend classes. |

I am pretty sure yo have blocked the entrance to "Easy Street" and should do a little jail time. Judges hate to have to do research and is why they will usually follow the recommendations offered by council. Start researching on your own. Whatever the original charge is for. Let's say it is for drugs. The judge as well as the prosecutor are immediately going to point out you being denied for the ankle monitoring and didn't bother to follow the order to turn your self in. They will want to make you the example in front of the others that are in court that day also. When the judge gives you the opportunity to speak, apologize to the court for not turning your self in and personally feel that jail may seem to be the answer as a disciplinary measure but feel the real concern is the drugs and by treating the problem in a program, will lessen the possibility of you ever returning to court as you learn how to let the program help you, help you be a better person in society. Be confident and address the judge as "Your Honor." whether it is a male or female judge. Do not address them as "Sir or Mame." "Your Honor, thank you for allowing me to speak. Your Honor, I feel that by treating my drug problem with a program rather than jail time will benefit all of us in the immediate future.If jail is the disciplinary action for my actions, this will ultimately result in the higher percentage group that I will end up worse, by institutionalizing me first then maybe go to a program after jail time is served as now, there will be 2 areas that will need to be addressed. 1 the original drug addiction and 2 now possibly a mental evaluation from being incarcerated . Whereas, addressing the drug issue in a program will entice my senses and increase my participation to complete the program an be a better person from the program itself and do not want to ever return to your courtroom. I appreciate any consideration to my suggestion. Thank you Your Honor. |
