i hear its best to not pay the ticket.

It will be on your record that you served time. I don't know about you, but in my opinion this looks bad. You should talk to the clerks office in the courthouse and get on a payment plan. They will almost always allow you to make payments. Besides, your freedom is golden.

You are kidding? Right? Be responsible...pay the ticket. You do not want to made into sombody's ****** while you are in jail.

you heard wrong. its warrants. its best just to pay the fine. it was even better to go to court and not have a warrant for you arrest in the first place. hard to say something on your behalf when you arent there. couldnt tell how many time i shook my head at the judge for letting people off the hook. just show up to court.

What do you have more of? Time or money? If you're unemployed, not looking for a job, turn yourself in and sit it out. If you have a job, try to pay it off.

Honesty

Isn't it really up to you? If you can afford to pay them and you'd rather stay out of the slammer, then pay'em. Most people prefer not to do the time so that's what they do. If you don't care about having that on your record and you've got the time to kill and/or you don't have the cash, you might as well do the time. Take care.
