Yes she can, why are you running in the first place. Go HOME and quit wasting valuable Police resources trying to locate you. You obviously have something going on that your Mom does not approve of, so just TALK about it with her and get it out in the open. |

Yes she can send the police out to fetch you because you are not old enough to be classed as an adult. Also I really wouldn't advise you to sneak out just because you got into a fight because when I did that she got the police out looking for me and everyone down out road as well. It was very embarrassing. The police found me and took me back to the police station to wait for my mum to pick me up. It seemed like the longest half an hour of my life. Just tell your mum that you are going out for a walk and you should get back in about an hour, this gives you enough time to think the argument over and it also gives your mum to think the argument over. When you get back you should be able to go up to Your mum and hug her and if she has thought about the argument too and is sorry she will hug you back. This should restore peace for a while until it happens again and then just repeat the same procedure.

In the state that I live in: Yes and more. If the officers has feels that the situation warrants it, he/she can call the juvenile judge to have a custody order issued. If a custody order is issued you will be taken to juvenile detention and remain there until a court date is set. The second option would be for the officer to issue a juvenile summons in which you would have be issued a court date and appear before a judge. The judge could decide at court what punishment to issue ( juvenile detention, community service, etc). Again these are for my state and that is the only state in which I can speak for. |

You are a minor, a CHILD..under 18 so yes certainly-she can get the cops to find you and take you home and if you do not want to be home you are a property of the state and sent to an orphanage. Not fun. |
