If the items listed on the warrant are small enough to fit in a safe, they can do any of the above. They will request you open it. If you refuse they can break into it, or they take it.
It is quite possible a drug dog could hit on it, even though it is fireproof. |

Yes they can open it. Yes they can take it. Yes dogs can smell the traces.
Get off the pot/coke/whatever. U don't need that ****. |

I don't really know.
but i can answer the dog part. yes, they can smell it. Dogs nose is 400 times more sensitive than ours. That's Four-hundred! |

the warrant would allow them to ask you to open it.
refusal would mean they would/could remove it
depending on the type of drug...odds are really good the dog can get find it in there.

If it is located inside your house then it is included in the house warrant.
Anything in your property could be searched.
Next time don't put any illicit materials in a safe it's pretty foolish, makes it obvious that you might be hiding something. |

really depends on what they are looking for. consider that if they have a warrant you are busted. |

if they have a warrant they can do anything, and they will arrange safes to to broken, criminals do it all the time |

they would be able to break the safe. my friends house was raided and they popped his safe. never removed it from the house but popped it right in his closet. I don't know about dogs, but I would think they could smell it, but I don't really know. |

If the warrant states that they can search everywhere yep they will make you open it or they will break it open and yes the drug dog will smell it right away. |

Yes, they could open it or make you open it.
Fire proof safes work like this. The covering melts to seal the container shut. A dog would be able to smell it. Remember that even a little bit of drug residue can be detected. |

If you don't open it the Police aren't leaving it alone. And any drug dealer careful enough not to leave traces outside the safe (for the dog to pick up) is probably careful enough not to have them in the house in the first place. |

If the items being searched for could be found in the safe then yes the Police can make you open it. If you refuse then the Police may break it open in order to search. If the judge signed the warrant then they have the authority to search it. |

you kinda gave us too much info there |

If they had a warrant to search the safe then yes, they can look inside. It really depends on what the warrant says. If there is probable cause then they will search then safe. For the smelling thing, buy a retaired police dog and test it yourself. Save a dog, hide your drugs. Who loses? |

Yeah... the police will have a way to get in one way or another. Dogs have super sense of smell. The drug smell will slowly come out of the smallest cracks and holes of the door and the dog will pick up on it.
My advice... do that stuff in another country and bring it in then. |

IT DEPENDS...IN THE WARRENT IT SPECIFIES WHAT THEY CAN AND CANT SEARCH..A JUDGE APPROVES THIS....IF THEY WANT TO SEARCH UR SAFE THEY HAVE TO PUT IT IN THE WARRENT SO THE JUDGE CAN APPROVE IT BEFORE HAND..THEN YES THEY OPEN IT BY ANY MEANS NECCESSARY .....NOTE THIS DOESNT MEAN THE WARRENT HAS TO SPECIFY ''SAFE'' IF THEY ARE LOOKING FOR GUNS AND/OR DRUGS THEY CAN LOOK WHERE EVER THEY ''BELIEVE'' U COULD BE HIDING THEM |
