Death is not the answer because they are not being punished for what they did, they are escaping justice. Thye should be made to suffer or what they did and for all the possible after affects thats gonna be caused as the child will have been scarred for life..not just for a few years.
Castration is a very good option especially if the subject has no mental problems...cos you cant punish them if they were not in control..pre meditated then yes..castration! Some may view it as harsh...and I would only recommend that as a second offence punishment...for a first timer id say at least 25 years in prison..

By prison I mean tougher prisons than we in the UK currently have!! Prisoners these days have luxeries and I believe they shouldnt have any. Harsh but maybe its the kick up the *** they need to stop them from becoming a repeat offender.

Certainly not death, there is no suffering in that for them! I say lock them on their own in a dark room, no day light, no visitors, bare minimum amount of food and water, nothing to occupy them, nothing to pass the time. Just leave them in their untill they die, hopefully racked with guilt and tortured by the memories of what they have done! What ever happens to them, it should be as mentally, emotionally and physically painfull as possible, and should literally last a life time!

and what made me so happy, after seeing her father ripping him self feeling so sorry for the loss of his only kid ... is that those who caught him , made him sit in a boiling wax and cut his thing ...
and left him on the ground dieing slowly as he barried her alive !

Two good choices that would need to be backed up with strong evidence such as DNA. I believe in poetic justice so give them to the family of the victim/s.
Remember what happened to the child molester in the film SEVEN. The guy was tied to a bed and kept barely alive for months and even chewed his own tongue off.

You can make the punishment as bad as you want, but it will not stop people. I live in America currently and for some crimes they strap you to a chair and electrocute you until your skin burns off. It is a pretty horrendous way to die. But do you think that America has a low homicide rate? Think again.

In Iran you can have have your hands, feet, and even limbs cut off for certain crimes, yet those crimes still happen.

In Singapore they will flog you with a cane leaving you scared for life for various crimes, including rape. Guess what, they still have rapists.

History has shown us that no matter how much you torture people, no matter how severe the punishment, crime still happens.

I know you are mad about the situation, but dreaming up horrible ways to torture, kill, mutilate, and maim people makes you no better than the criminals themselves. The only thing you can do with a child rapist is take them out of society forever. It is not normally possible to correct this mental illness.

However I'm a little concerned about some of the folks answering here - they sound like very violent people to me. Do I want them mixing with my children?
