No question about it. None. That's exactly why everything is signed and dated on the spot. And that's why it's called a "chain".

When we provide lab administered drug testing, the chain of custody form is very specific. If the form was not properly filled out at the time of testing and throughout the process, we would have an invalid test. This rarely happens, but if it does, the results could not be used. A broken chain of custody would probably not be challenged unless the results were positive and the candidate questioned the findings. Another test would then be requested.
