Assuming you are talking about the Taser X-Rep, the size comparison between a 12ga shell and 9/40/45 round is exponential and years away. The flight speed of the X-Rep is comparable to a paintball round (300fps) so range is a concern but rest assured if there is a potential market someone somewhere is working on it.
