In most cases the conditions of probation would include a condition that you can not violate any law. If you have been charged in a new case, regardless of the nature, your probation officer could bring an action that would put you in violation of your probation. Every state has different procedures when this happens but generally you will be afforded some type of a "hearing" which could be in front of another probation officer or any other official that your state has established as the proper authority to hear such matters. If you were to disagree with the decision there would be a means for you to go before the judge that placed you on probation. Without knowing the history of the jurisdiction in which you are on probation it is only a guess if you are going to be "violated". It would be a really good idea if you contacted your probation officer before he/she learns about the matter from some other source. You may be able to convince them of the minor nature of your involvement (if that is the case). If you do contact them and they were planning on violating you anyway you have not lost anything. |

If you committed any new crime they can violate, or revoke your probation. It doesn't have to be the same nature of a crime. You needed help before you acquired the new charges. Don't do the crime if you can't do the time. Next time ask us before you violate your probation.
That makes it even worst, he attempted to kill somebody, he has some girl pregnant and he is now 24 messing with a 16 year old while he already has a baby on the way, while already on felony probation. We will excuse you since you don't know any better. He deserves to be back in prison, no sympathy from me. |

actually if your above the legal age of consent in your state he's safe, your dad is pissed, but can't really do anything about it.
but, i recomend you make better "friends".
p.s go to the link and rerify for your state, its usually 16 but there are exeptions, the link is a gay rights site, but the laws don't change because of that.
p.p.s. i'm not gay, i just googled and this site poped up, lol. |

Yes. Your probation states you have to obey *ALL* laws, and have no police contact.
Maybe when you're in prison you can take some ENGLISH classes. |

If he gets charged with anything then it would violate his probation, however if you have not done anything with him then go to a doctor and prove it. That would only be helpful to you if youre still a virgin though...
You will have to show, to your parents and a court that there was not anything going on...
good luck with that
It would be a good idea to get your friend to call his probation officer and maybe get an attorney. |

Probably, since your probation papers should have something in them that says you will refrain from breaking any other laws or you will be found to be in violation. |

Yes. If you commit any crime while on probation, you are violation your probation. |

Most likely you would still be in violation of your probation - but that is not necessarily the case - what does it say in your probation? |

I believe it states on your probabtion "involved in any crime or wrong doing?"
I would say "YES" |

I believe you'd have to be *convicted* of the second charge, not just charged, but almost any violation of the law can be a parole or probation violation. Contact your PO to be certain. |
