If you are sleeping in a camper in a legal area, and have just been put on probation for simple misdemenaor ..?

can your p.o MAKE you stay at a shelter with a mailing address as opposed to sleeping in your camper?

why or why not?

if camper is in legal area to do so, can you give their mailing address?

please explain what to do and how likely this will be REQUIRED to stay at a salvation army?

i dont think they are even free to stay at are they?

how can they require you to do this , if you cant even afford to pay them either?

please explain the rules.

Didn't like the answer you got last time? When one is on probation, one is given the conditions under which they can avoid serving time in jail. If you don't like the conditions you have two options. You can serve the jail sentence or you can file a motion to modify terms of probation in the court that ordered the probation. The judge will decide whether the conditions will serve your rehabilitation or not. There are no practical limits on the conditions that a judge might impose because you are free to accept them as a condition of staying out of jail or not.

I know that it is possible to have a "C/O address", therefore you can stay wherever you like - and just pick up your mail from that base - or get them to send it on to where you are.
How do people living in trailer parks do it ? - and they can leave when they like.

If you are on probation, get booked into one of these, as they will have this postal system worked out - and you'll probably get a secure mailbox.
The worst that could happen is that they kick you out for not paying rent for a parking spot.

You can live at the trailer park, and still have a post office box PO box number held at your local post office - then pick up your mail from there, but it costs a bit - maybe not as much as as a trailer park rate.

Is the issue a mailing address, or conditions of your camper? If you have your camper on a lot (such as in a camper park) then the park's address with your lot number should be a viable living address. The P.O. may be considering the health conditions of your camper. Does it have running water, electricity, and a bathroom? If you are under 18 your P.O. may be just doing their job to make sure you have proper living accommodations as defined by law, and the Salvation Army may be more of what is expected. If you are under 18 then yes, they may be able to "require" you to live at the Salvation Army. Now, in AR where I live, this is a free service which also provides meals for the homeless.
