Yes, as a matter of fact there is no "transfer" all of the warrants of any state go onto a national data base. |

Most warrants have a limit on how far the district you are wanted in is willing to come and get you. Some may say nationwide, some may limit it to a certain number of miles. Bottom line, if you have a warrant, answer it. Get it over with and behind you. They don't want you in the system or in jail - they want the case cleared and the fines paid. If you answer the warrant and do as you are told, you'll not have to worry about when the ax is going to fall as it eventually will. |

It's according to what the warrant is for. Most agencies will extradite nationwide for a felony. If it is a misdemeanor, probably not. |

Yep. They'll run you on NCIC the next time you get stopped for anything and it will be there. |

Yes all the warrents are all in one data base, if you get stopped by the police for any reason like speeding they will check for warrents. If you have a warrent in one state but in another you will be transported to the origonal state. |

well being wanted for something and leaving the state makes it a federal matter which usually means a stiffer penialty, and possible extradition back to the first state if the action warrants it |

here's a question ontop of this question- so say you get arrested in another state for your warrant , how much time does the state your warrants in have to come and get you , or do they have an unlimited amount of time to hold you until that state comes and gets you? |
