If you have planters fasciitis, are you not allowed to be a police officer?

I want to take criminology in college, in hopes of becoming a police officer. I have planters fasciitis tho;however, i wear special orthopedics which solve the problem. Am i allowed to be a police officer? If not can i become a sheriff like stallone in copland because he was hearing impaired and still was a sheriff too.

First of all "Copland" was a movie not reality. I think it's important that you be able to separate one from the other before moving on to the next step. If you're serious about wanting to be in law enforcement then inquire at whatever department you are interested in about your condition. But remember if say you are interviewing for a law enforcement job...don't talk about cop shows and movies the same as you would reality. It's a red flag.
