If your speeding ticket is dismissed, do you have to still pay it?

Today I was at court, and the judge gave me 8 hours of community service. He gave me 2 months to do it. And said when I complete this, my ticket will be dismissed. So would I still have to pay the 90 dollar fine?

Well it's up to you- pay the $90 or do the community service. You certainly don't have to do both.
