okay so i go 6 months DA's probation for egging a house and me & a friend got caught shoplifting. $100 worth give or take. whats gonna happen to me? im 16 --17 in june-- and i live in louisiana. please no harsh comments im trying to chane myself for the better i dont need a lecture

im 16 i dont have to have perfect typing and punctuation. my caps button is messed up anyways. that doesnt effect my topic.

Well son, if it were up to me - I'd put you on a chain gang till you learned how to spell, and capitalize Louisiana - Meanwhile go and shop lift a nice suit for your court appearance. |

You need to ask for court appointed counsel or hire an attorney. By commiting a crime while on probation it could be a reason for violating you on your probation. This in turn could mean an activation of your sentence and you would have to serve your time in jail.
Remember probation is a second chance. You will be told you obviously didn't learn anything from having this second chance. It would not be wise for you to handle this on your own. You need to get an attorney. An attorney may be able to get the case dismissed per payment of restitution owed to whom ever you and your friends stole from. If you end up being found guilty you need to ask you attorney for this not to be a revoking factor on your probation matter you are serving. |
