You agree to, and sign, the rules of probation. If you check them, I'm sure they will include home visits and random drug tests. |

while on probation, your rights are seriously cutailed. you agree to this when you accpet probabtion. A PO can pretty much do what he wants..like search you, your home, car etc without any warrant or for any reason. You can be drug tested at any time and yes, they will show up at your door and test you, espceially if you have been ducking them.
Bottom line, probabtion is voluntary and anytime a person does not want to go along with the program, they can ask for lodging at the local correctional facility. |

Probation officers can drug test you whenever, where ever they please, that is why they are random, they can also do random home visits and search to make sure there are no drugs in the home (they will do this if they believe illegal drug activity is taking place they get an order from the court to search) |

Yes, and while on probation, they can make entrance into your home without a search warrant with NO probable cause. |

Yes, you should have had our responsibilities explained to you prior to being placed on probation. Its an alternative to incarceration not a you got away with it. |

Yup. You are besicall imprisoned with the luxury of living outside the jail walls. The PO owns you and you are his until your sentence is over. |
