I got a Traffic Ticket in pierce county for having an unsafe and dangerous vehicle. I broke my foot a month ago and cannot afford a lawyer for my court date coming up... I could really use some help. Thanks

What do you mean by plead the case?
They called it unsafe and dangerous for overheight bumbers and no splas guards. I was traveling down a dirt road... Evans Creek to be exact.
i have gotten off a speeding ticket before because the date issued box was blank.... At least thats what my lawyer told me after he won.

Missing information on a citation does not make it invalid, nor is it a defense to the charge.
A ticket is simply a charging instrument and the information can be amended at any time.
The only time I've seen a citation dismissed for error is when it directly relates to the offense. In your case, driving an unsafe vehicle is illegal everyday, so the date is not critical. |

you don't need a lawyer for that, just show up for court and plead your case to judge. if you don't show and don't pay, you'll get a warrant...you don't want that! |

Date does not really matter, as it is recorded when written, by dispatchers log book, the Officers log book and by ticket number issued. |
