I got a fine during the Easter holiday in speeding, I lost 6 points and paid $400 fine, is the points redeemable, meaning once its been paid I get my whole 12points back?

sorry to say Kate is right. but you do not loose points, you gain them and once you accumulate 12 you loose your licence. they generally take three years from the date of the offence to be removed.

No. However depending on the state your in, they are given back in 1-3 yrs. As well, many states offer free or cheap driver refreshment courses in which will award you back some of your lost pts. These classes are 4-8 hrs. in length and are quite boring but well worth it when you have lost alot of pts. Check with your local DMV or google the courses in your area.
