Is a henchman and a solider the same thing?

In criminal terminology, a "soldier" is a henchman. Same thing. A criminal co conspirator. In technical terms, a henchman is a criminal violating the law and a soldier is a member of his countries armed forces and is sanctioned by his government.

I assumed you are referring to the criminal terminology but I wanted to add the difference in both terms.
