It seems like every time something bad is happening to another country, we have to jump in and help them. Like The vietnam war and others. Whats your oponion?

America is like the big brother of the whole world. USA keeps them nice, if they aren't nice then big brother comes to "play" with them. If they are nice then big brother becomes good brothers with the nice ones.
Vietnam was a good war, media killed the American will.
Media killed the American will for Iraq too, and it's starting to do it in A-stan too.. sad really.
The American will is special, there is no other country that has anything near to it. It is a special patriotic sense of brotherhood that Americans get when their country needs them. It's a promise to sacrifice anything they can for the good of the country, to support each other and their leaders for the simple fact that they are both Americans. We saw this during WWII, with American production and economy rising so fast because of the will to work together. We saw this after 9/11 when Americans joined together to fight.. this is fading.. the will is dying and the media is very much responsible.
