Yes. Bicyclists are subject to the same rules as those operating a motor vehicle .

Bicyclists can't exceed the speed limit but aren't subject to a minimum riding speed. That is basically the only difference between the laws governing them and people operating a motor vehicle. Bicyclists have to ride with the flow of traffic and on the street. They must signal when altering their course and obey all other traffic signs. They must obey the rules of entering and leaving traffic and give right of way to pedestrians. And so on.

I hope not, I've had to rely on my trusty 10 speed to get me home from parties when I was too drunk to drive.

U know, I live in toronto and Im sure people ride their bikes drunk. However i have to say dont do it on the road obviously and dont make yourself look obvious. the cops wont suspect a drunk biker - so dont make urself stand out but Im sure the cops can give u a ticket for that.
