College is not a waste of money. In fact, if you do not go to college you are greatly lessening your chances of making a great deal of money. There are always exceptions, but based upon your question, you may need every bit of insurance. There are many colleges that have faculties that trend more conservative, such as Brigham Young and Stanford.

No, college is not a waste of time. One famous phrase " Education is the key to success" having a college degree almost guarantees that u will make more money that someone whose never been to college. Its time well spent and well worth the efforts. Along with getting respect and prestige.

For some people collage is a waste of not only money but also time. But for the most part the education gets them a good job, however I think it's overpriced. As far as the parties go remember when that was you getting drunk and being load? I live in a collage town and consider it part of the atmosphere or culture, whatever. Sometimes they invite me and I'm 42.

Even though I do think college is a good idea I feel the need to tell you that I am in sales an have been for almost 10 years and I never went to college. I also make around $100,000 a year. I work with people everyday that have 30,40 and 50 thousand dollars worth of student loans and they are doing the same job as me because they realized that going to college and spending $40,000 to get a job that pays $34,000 does not make a lot of sense. If you go make sure that you are going for something that you like but also something that will help you pay off you student loans.
