In the UK it is called 'driving with undue hesistancy' and some people do get busted each year. Usually straight to court, rather than a ticket. |

It is a real danger actually. You could be ticketed for going too slowly. Imagine coming up behind someone who is suddenly doing 40 in the 65. Of course, you have to just watch out for them anyway, but what if? |
|

Yes tons of areas have minimum speed limits posted(mostly interstate, toll, multi lane). The last thing that is needed is jumping onto an Interstate highway and being behind Grammy doing 30mph in her 1983 Cadillac. |

An old lady I used to work for on her farm got a ticket for doing under 30 mph on the motorway, nothing bizzare there you might think, but she had picked up a young cow in Kent and driving back to Cornwall and it was on the back seat of her morris minor when she was pulled over. Can you imagine the look on the coppers face. |

I guess, I see signs on the interstate that say minimun speed 45....so I would think it is possible... |
|

First question I would ask you is...
Do you have a Drivers License ???
If so you should already know this fact...???
Ever see what damage a Rear end accident
can cause by driving less than 45MPH on an
Interstate...especially at night !!!!
The Police estimated the dark blue Min-Van
was going 25MPH on the Interstate at around
02:00 Hrs...there wasn't anything left of the VAN
or the people inside it or the car or people in
the other car....
They literally exploded in pieces than caught fire...
So DRIVE DEFENSIVELY
also witnesses verified it |

How about when you make a turn. Obviously if your driving too slow after you've made a turn, or gone onto a highway then you would be creating a risk of someone crashing your behind. |
|

yes, you have to obey the set minimum speed, otherwise you become a hazard on the road. That is a reason they do not allow bikes and moped's on major interstates, they can't go fast enough. |
|

Purple Rain
 |
yes, many places actually have a minimum speed posted on the interstate. I know Atlanta does. |
