basically I live in texas and this happened to me, I'm 19, and 2 friends of mine are 21 they wanted me to take them to the county line to buy some liquor (them not me), I drove them because they were already intoxicated, well apparently TABC saw me stand outside the truck but not go in, and followed me all the way back into Tyler where I guess they called Tyler PD cause i was pulled over i stated what i told y'all full sobriety test, Breathalyzer and then at the station blood test all .00 and yea i was arrested, was their any reason i was? and should i contest it? I'm just wondering if what i did was illegal or some cop had a bad day or something and didn't like me...I was respectful idk jw

yes your where in the wrong under texas state law and the TABC you are under 21 years of age and u are not allowe to be allowed to be with anyone who is intoxicated . the state will look at it like this u drove them to buy even thou you knew they where intoxicated. plus if the conty is a by county under texas law u r not allowed to bring any beer or liquor back. so yes u broke the law and u can have your lic. supend and also pay a fine . |

Plead not guilty and ask for a trial. What was you charged with? They have to have a charge. |

You neglected to include what you were arrested for. You can't expect an answer as to whether or not an arrest was valid if you don't tell us WHY you were arrested. |

You're clearly not telling us the whole story because they don't just give you all the test and arrest you if you didn't drink anything. I'm pretty sure you were drunk and are trying to play the sympathy card. By what you wrote, you did nothing illegal, except they don't arrest you for what you wrote.
