If you are under 21 and drinking, it is illegal. |

If you're underage, causing a disturbance, sharing your booze with minors, and/or firing off a shotgun, yes. |

well if you arent giving alcohol to minors, and if you are 21 or older then it should be ok. if they crash the party they will most likely let u go unless they really need to talk to u for some reason. or if there is reason to believe that youve been doing something illegal wile drunk |

Most cities/towns have a law against Drunk in Public. It's usually a misdemeanor. But yes, you can be arrested for being drunk if you are not driving. Usually the cops won't bother you for being drunk or tipsy in public unless you are acting really stupid, fighting with people, peeing on the street, etc. or falling down. |

i dont know how it works in the states, but in my experience living in laval (quebec, canada), as long as youre of a legal drinking age, youre not causing any trouble, or look suspicious, youre fine. the cops pretty much dont bother you. or if youre under age, but drinking anyway, try not to do anything that will attract attention to you. really the cops would only be looking for trouble-makers. |

Yep! Public Intoxication. If you are being loud, you could be drunk and disorderly. It's a mess. If you are drunk, it's illegal unless you are at home, by the books. But you can get pulled over for going 41 in a 40 zone, but you rarely do. Same kinda thing. |

It is illegal to be drunk in public.
If you are walking down the beach not bothering anyone, and aren't a danger to yourself, probably not.
If you are walking down the beach yelling at passerby, or flashing people, or if you appear in imminent danger of staggering into the surf, you might get arrested. |

If you are not in a private house and are drunk, it is public intoxication. If you are in a private house and under age, it is a violation of the zero tolerance policy (you broke the law). The answer, then, is yes. In Michigan, at least, if you break the zero tolerance law, it goes on your driving record. Fair, no, reality, yes. |
|

Yes you can, that's public intoxication but you'll most likely just get fined, a warning, or just a night in jail to sleep it off. |

Not unless you're drinking and you're not of the legal drinking age.
However, if you are disorderly, loud, or commiting another crime while under the influence of alchohol, then you can be arrested and charged with that crime. |

I don't know how it is in the UK nowadays with Nanny Tony in charge, but it used to be that you had to be drunk AND disorderly to get arrested. Simply being drunk was not enough. I suspect that has changed, what with Anti-Social Behaviour Orders and the like.
Come to think of it, responsible drinking is a social behaviour, so surely Nanny Tony deserves an ASBO for being anti-social. Just a thought! |

first off if u r not 21 yes u will get in trouble, if u r of age and u r making it known u r drunk u can get in trouble for public intoxicion, so just don't get that drunk were they can tell u r and everything should be okay stay away from trouble, and keep calm no drama!! another thing if u r in a parked car make sure u don't have the keys in the ingition and u can't get into trouble for just sitting in a car, good luck, happy hoildays and be safe. |
