I just bought a 12 gauge pump shotgun and i drive a hatchback if i put it in the hatch and its not visible or loaded is it legal to carry? o and btw im only 19

The best thing to do would be to call the state police and ask to speak to an information officer they will be the one to give you the right and best answer to keep your behind out of jail.

The best way to transport the gun legally, would be in plain sight, unloaded, with the chamber open. The ammo must be LOCKED in a seperate compartment or ammo box. This way, if you get pulled over, you can keep both hands on the steering wheel, and inform the officer that you have an unloaded shotgun in the car. He'll be allot cooler in that situation, than finding it in the hatch.
