im 15 and 1/2 and i got this job and its a long distance ride to get there, my problem is transportation. i drove my dads car on the highway about a year ago and i didnt get caught because it was just a short distance ride.now im 15 1/2 and all i need is to drive to work on weekends but i dont have license.as much as i want to hang out with my friends i rather go to work and earn some cash but i cant go to work because im afraid i might get caught and be thrown in jail.
pls help...i could've been making money but ride is been stopping me..

get a ride from one of your co-workers or get someone to drive you. you could offer to pay someone to drive you if need be. when cops are on patrol, they pay a lot of attenton to people who appear to be teenagers. if you get caught you will not be able to drive for a LONG time and think of what a hardship that will be. Driving is an adult activity, and if you want to do it you should be thinking like an adult. |

Go with the scooter idea...that's the best bet. You don't want to muck up your driving privileges for the ages of 16 and 17. You'll need a car much more then than you do now.

Scooters that get 100 miles per gallon only cost $900. Because of their low cc engine size, many states do not require them to be registered (unlike mopeds). If they aren't registered, then the drivers can't be regulated.
You CAN have transportation at the age of 15.
I'm not sure how it is in your state, but in mine (Maryland), IF you get busted driving at 15, you can't get your license until 18 when your juvenile record is closed.

Keep in mind, when you get caught, and you will get caught, you will lose the right to get your license until you're 21. HOpe it's worth it to you. |

Driving without a license will mess things up for you later. Check with DMV if they have a solution for you. In some states, licenses (conditional) can be obtained at age 14. |
