Yes, it is possible. You can either call it in and when they ask for your name tell them that you want to remain anonymous, or you could go down the the station and file one. If you go down to the station they are still more than likely going to take your information, but the report would still be anonymous. Also, depending on the crime that you are reporting, they might not take you as seriously over the phone as they would if you filed one in person.
I would recommend that you go to the police department that you wish to file the report, but let them know beforehand that you want to remain anonymous. |

Yes you can. But don't call 911 unless it's an emergency. Your name and address will also appear on a screen at dispatch.
Also if the cops have your address, ask them not to knock on your door, as the person you called about will know you're the one who called.
Unless it's something serious, the cops will honor that request. |

Yes, try calling the police dept's non-emergency number and tell them you would like to report a crime anonymously. |
