I've never lost a footrace to a cop to this very day. If they actually had any physical prowess, they would have joined the military instead. A dozen donuts and 6 cups of coffee a day aren't really conducive to running fast. And thank God for that. |

How many pounds of equipment do you wear around your waist? Not only does it slow us down, but for me, as a woman it is not only heavy it actually hurts because I don't have a lot of fat on my hips. I always end up with bruises on my hips any time I have to run with my equipment. In the long run, you can't outrun the radio, and you said most, not all. Sure there are some out of shape cops, but in my town, we are all in pretty good shape. |

Yeah it is pretty sad i'd have to say. Maybe you should use that to thier advantage and start a physical fitness program at that police department. You could be the PT instructor and help them get into shape/get faster. Just an idea! |
