Is my plan to be an FBI agent any good?

go to college
get a degree in cultural studies
i am fluent in Turkish
i was born in turkey but raised in the United States, my parents were granted US citizenships 5 years ago, do i qualify as a US citizen?

You can't work for the FBI if you're not a citizen. A degree in cultural studies will get you nowhere with the FBI especially as a special agent. And Turkish isn't a high priority language in great need. The FEDs prefer a law or an accounting degree preferably but are also taking people with language degrees, physical sciences especially chemistry, computers and engineering. My science degrees got me hired by a three letter l/e agency, although I'm not an agent, at least not yet, nor do I work for the FBI but I talk with guys from them all the time. If you get one of those degrees you stand a better chance of getting hired. Contrary to popular belief languages don't matter. It's really just a way to eliminate people from the large influx pool of applicants.
