i left a backpack with some stuff in it in a friends car. he got pulled over, they found it and there was a chillum (pipe) in it and the cops found it. i wasn't in the vehicle, i just heard that my stuff was "with the cops". so then i keep calling and trying to find out what to do about it and first i was told to find the street it happened on.. and then im told that they can't tell me where the car was towed because i'm not the owner, and that the owner has to fill out a retrieval form, and get the stuff from the place the car was towed. but its unfortunate because i can't contact this "friend" because i only met him that night. he never got arrested, so i don't know if his car was towed. im guessing is stashed somewhere tagged with "possession of paraphernalia" but i need that stuff which has my medication and glasses and everything.. i've also filled out a police report. i don't know the guys last name or anything or how to contact him.
what should i do?

he was also drunk when he was behind the wheel. i just need to know where my stuff is and how to get it.

I would say that for the amount of time and money that it would cost you to get your things, you would be better off buying replacements. |
