Okay, there was this girl who randomly called me at 11 at night and starts cussing me out and threatning me. I dont even know her or have talked to her prior to this. she messed up things with me and this girl, and so i finnaly decided to get her back by putting her number on the internet. now she says that her next door neighbor is a cop and she asked him and he said its disturbing the peace and haraasment. can I really get in trouble with the police or is she just faking it? any more questions email me at

There is a law against calling you over and over at 11 at night and cursing you, it is called disturbing the peace. She can get into trouble for that. Unfortunately, so can you. Putting her number on the internet with the attempt to have people call her is like putting her number up on the stall door in a bathroom. It is peace disturbance or disorderly conduct, depending upon the way the ordinance is written where you live. One illegal act does not cancel out the other illegal act.
