I would like to purchase the 12 round Law Enforcement magazine for my SP2340 pistol. I live in Pennsylvania, and am curious as to whether there is a limit on the number of rounds allowed in a magazine. I know there is in states such as California, but PA tends to be a little less tyrannical than CA. I'm pretty sure there is no restriction, as I tested a Glock with a 15 round capacity at a gunstore, but I want to make absolutely sure so that I don't wind up with a felony on my hands. I am not in law enforcement, by the way. The "Law Enforcement" moniker of the 12rd mag is just a name made up by Sig Sauer. Thanks for any info.

Awesome, thanks Leslie. I'd hate to lose my voting rights over something as stupid as having 13 rounds instead of 11. At the same time...I'd rather have 13.

No problem in PA.
Like you said, problem in CA also NJ and Mass, but not PA
Sig put that moniker on, as did many others like Glock for high capacity magazines (10 rounds or more) when it was a Fed law that only law enforcment could have high capacity mags from 1994 to 2004. Law expired in 2004.
Note, some cities may have their own laws but the state of Pennsylvania does not |
