Of course there is. 7/7 happened and I happen to know from contacts with the police that there have been several plots which have been stopped dead in their tracks.

Terrorism has been around since mankind. There are always going to be terrorists as long as there are people. I think it has been made worse since the "war on terror", this is an oxymoron. War IS terror, so how can you have a War ON terror? They are the terrorists to us, we are the terrorists to them. As long as we declare we will fight them, they will continue to rise up. Its a shame no one ever bothered to look at what pisses them off so much in the first place - we just bomb first, ask questions later, if at all.

you are trying to say that after 9/11, 7/7, 21/7, all the plots the police have couragously stopped (fertiliser, ricin, etc etc etc) there is no terrorist threat?
terrorists exist, and they are trying to kill us. it is unfortunate that the massive majority of good, law-abiding muslims are being tarred with the same brush as the terrorist scum.

I think the will to destroy western governments is real. What is worse, some of these radicals are educated and smart. It's one thing for someone to blindly hate because it makes them to feel superior. It's another for the educated who should understand where the western governments are coming from hate.

I think everyone should take this seriously.
