Is there a way to legally remove my belongings from someones home?

my babies daddy is being immature and not letting me take my stuff from his house....can i bring a cop with me or something? to make him open the door and take my stuff?

the stuff isnt necessities but expensive books from school and stuff related to school that I really need

This is a clothes job - call the precinct where you live. You are allowed to get necessities, i.e. clothes, food, formula, etc. They will escort you to the home and stand by with you for around 10-20 minutes while you get what you need.

If you have a family court order for specifics just show it to the officers and you will be allowed those items also.

Yes you can call the police and have them meet you at the address where your belongs are.....

Usually you call the police department and ask them to help you by going with you and standing by. In some states it's called "civil standby". Just call and ask them to help you and explain the situation.

Call your local police and ask for a civil assist. Will have to be done when baby's daddy is home, usually can't take longer than 30 minutes and will no include any property that their is disputed ownership.
