In february i was caught at a ski mountain with a bowl with marijuana residue and some seeds. I went to court and got a diversion program. The people assigned me 30 hours of community service, a drug abuse program, 2 letters of apology, and a weekly grade report thats sent to them. I was beyond pissed at this since i was my FIRST involvement with the police. Did i get off the hook or was that steep as you know what?

dude you got of easy. when i was 15 i was arrested for possesion of marijuana, and got 6 months in prison. just do the work and don't get caught again. its beyond fair, trust me. |

I wish that I would have received a punishment like that when I was a teenager. When they found some pot on me they let me go, broke my pipe, and told me not to throw my life away. A couple years later when I was 17, I was caught manufacturing methamphetamine, yes it was my first formal charge, take this into consideration. They tried me as an adult. I got 8 years probation, participation in a drug/alcohol treatment, 6 months in jail, 400 hours of community service and 15,000 dollars in fines and fees. I wouldn't complain, your punishment sounds fair, they were trying to help you so you don't end up where I am. Pot started me on my path to where I went. Consider yourself grateful. |

Look up what the maximum punishment for your crime is, and then quit whining.
