I met this guy first time at dinner from a mutual friend. He walked me to my car as it was late at night. I said good night. Then I turn around to put the key in my car, and he grabs me from the waist and presses me to him forcingly. I yell I'm not that type of girl. Leave me alone, and he did.
Should I have pressed charges or what?
Was this an assault or what?
NOTE: Before we left he told me not to tell my friends where I was going, that I was leaving with him. I did tell my friends that I was leaving, and he was upset.

that would be assault! but deff not very serious since he cooperated when you told him to get away...
the problem is that if you wanted to press charges, you should've called the cops right at the scene.. is really hard for the police to arrest some one if they dont have any probable cause (reasons),,,
a probable cause would be any marks and/or injuries that you would've had...
SO, you could press charges, BUT he'll most likely get away with it since the accident already past and he didnt do anything else to you.... hope i helped |

If anyone says dont tell anyone where you are theyre up to NO GOOD with you. you couldnt have pressed charges cause he just held you, then when you said stop he listened. if he had continued to hold u, then u could have. but no. and its not an assault. well idk. tell your parents tho. |

He left you alone when you said NO. That isn't against the law. If you press charges he can just claim he got mixed signals, and you won't get ****. Don't flatter yourself by pressing charges, you aren't that great. |
