My question is why a more mature, 18 year old female would want to date a less mature 16 year old male? Females mature faster than males, and should be looking for someone their age or slightly older, not younger.
Personal opinion, it sounds more like someone wanting the "forbidden fruit" than someone seeking a serious relationship. |

What do you mean by date? A child under the age of 18 must have their permission to be dating. You could probably legally have a physical relationship with him, but you don't want to risk other charges (like interfering with child custody). If you have the parent's permission then it is probably okay. |
