Is this sleep over experience illegal in the United States???

Making a long story short, I recently had a sleep over at one of my "so called" friend’s house and 4 other peers. I am 13 years old. They shoved a bean bag chair on me and punched me like every 15 minutes the whole night long. I have bruises all over my body and it hurts badly. Then they talked all this trash about me. They stole my cell phone so I couldn't call my parents to get me out. They pantsed me (underwear was still on) and they mooned me and sometimes even sat on my head with their butt whale they were mooning me. I tried to fight back but when its 5-1 it is impossible. They threw food (macaroni and cheese to be exact) at me and some noodles almost hit my eye. They made prank calls at 2:00 in the morning to random numbers and they gave a guy my cell phone number so that I would get into trouble. Is any of this illegal in the United States??? (I live in Texas). Should I get the police involved???

The best people to tell you whether or not any of this is illegal, are going to be the police. All you have to do is give them a call. So long as you call the NON EMERGENCY NUMBER - I'm sure they will talk to you without giving you any hassle.

I don't know what your particular situation is, but your local police are NOT IMMIGRATION. You have nothing to fear from talking with them. And if you can find one of those rare - almost extinct items called a pay phone - you might chose to talk to the police using one of these.

Probably the only thing your so-called friends are going to get into trouble over are going to be the bruises on your body, and the stolen cell phone - if they still have it.

But even if the police don't get involved - and they don't get into any trouble at all - there are some wonderful books on the market that can help you with this situation. At least one of these books is called "HOW TO GET REVENGE". Another is called 1001 WAYS TO SCREW PEOPLE."

Ask the clerk in your local book store to look them up for you. He or she might also have a few ideas as well. You might then want to use some of your allowance money to purchase these books.

Nah. Move out of Texas & get new friends. -Afterall, EVERYTHING'S "bigger" in Texas- even the idiots. Just look at the jails they have there, they're overflowing with them- & they can't execute them fast enough. -And those are just the handfull they've CAUGHT! Sounds like a few of your "friends" are among the ones still at large... I'd move somewhere where there isn't so much "law and disorder".

What kind of friends do you have??? Man.. I should say that its illegal and if it isn't illegal, they SHOULD make it so. The part where they punched you and attacked at you while you're defenseless should bring your case to some importance to the police. Your friends should be taken to Boys Home or something, just imagine how they would end up as adults if you let them off easily and they won't ever learn that what they did was wrong. If not the police, tell your parents. I'm sure they would be outraged and take the appropriate course of action.

It has to be illegal. indecent exposure, assault and battery, etc.

Get your parents involved, take pictures, call the authorities. Take them on Judge Judy to get punitive damages.

Looks like you were a victim of hazing or bodily assault.

You may file a complaint against them since those "friends" of yours are not from a fraternity and you are not a neophyte or initiate to begin with.

What they did was dangerous and constitutes assault upon your person and a threat to your safety. You should definitely file a complaint.

After that, learn martial arts. A grenade launcher works too, if possible.

The part about hitting you is definitely illegal, but have fun proving it. It's probably not worth getting the police involved, but you can certainly tell their parents. Or just tell your parents, who I'm sure would be happy to pass it along to your "friends'" parents if you want.
