No, today's youth is not a problem. The obvious exception is the youth of society who cheat and ask others to do their homework for them. Do you not feel just a little bit guilty doing that?? |

i blame the deadbeat parents for not instilling morals into their kids, nor do they seem to teach them right from wrong...& it is the rest of us who pay the price! |

Look in the real world.
Decode this lyrics " Don't know much"
Their misery?
How can we blame them?
When they don't even know why they were behaving in such a manner in time.
What do we expect them to do in time?
After being hit hard on the head with the Book of the Dead without being aware of it being expose in time after the mystery of us-911.
The problem is the education and communication system.
Not them.

I believe that today's youth are basically not much different to youth in years, decades or centuries gone by.
Youths will have a rebellious streak and unfortunately some will get into trouble. |

We have a lot of youths who are not involved in the Justice system but mostly the ones who are come from inner cities where there is high unemployment, poor education and one parent families. In years gone by if a man didn't work he was regarded as a "Layabout" and was shamed, today it is quite normal.
I think the only way to fix it is to overhaul the system by upping the school leaving age, and enforcing harsh penalties on parents who do not send their children to school regularly or do not take responsibility for their children's behaviour.
The Government should bring back apprenticeships to encourage the youngsters to work.
Bring back approved schools and Borstals.
People who sign on as unemployed for more than 6 months should be made to do at least 4 hours work each day in any job that is available that require basic skills i.e cleaning graffiti, toilet attendant, Lollipop duties at schools etc. |

Because chavs don't have decent values to instill in their feral spawn, and they are not disciplined or set boundaries. |

what u talkin' bout?

Oh my goodness. The parents can't raise their children in the manner to which they want to. They can't discipline these children and the children know this. Society has 'taken' over in much of the family matters. Things have gone too much the other way, we need to get things back to the way they were years ago. Children respected their parents, we didn't have to lock up a gun cabinet. Technology is playing a role in a lot of things today which I personally do not feel is right. They have apparatuses now for cars so that the parents can 'watch' everything that their teenager is doing behind the wheel. They have drug dogs that a family can hire that cost $200.00 an hour to check their children, behind their back, for the use of drugs! We need to have trust back once again between parent and child! I could go on and on. |

I feel that people need to stop assuming every youth goes out binge drinking and causing a riot. i don't drink, i don't smoke and i don't do drugs. stop labelling me.
the reason there are absolute fools in society is because people aren't bought up to learn right and wrong or any morals, they see their parents and copy them. the parents need educating on parenting but they would never go for that because that would mean they would need help wouldn't it?
they should probably go far away. or die. |

Whats with all the lashing out at young people... yes they are in trouble with the jsutice system but not much more than they have ever been so whats the big dea.... also it is only the minority of young people maybe 20-30% that give us this bad name, so stop generalising and start to see the individuals it is just minority of people cant you see your blaming all of us for the actions of a few??? |

There are various causes that cause the problem such as!Parents relinquishing control of their children and trying to put the responsibility onto some one else!
Labour Governments paralysed to work out a solution because statistics show most of the gun and knife crime is perpetrated upon black upon black although that statement breaks down in pockets of the country such as Liverpool where the knife and gun crime is perpetrated on white upon white!I give the tragic case of little Rhees who's tragic death shocked the nation to its foundations!
More power to the police in their efforts such as the controversial stop and search could be a step forward to break up the gang culture!! |

They're no different to the youth of many other years. We just see whats going on through new media types, and decide we dont like our society after all.
Knife crime has always been a problem, for example Teddy Boys, Football 'crews', East End Gangs. In the early 1900s' children as young as 8 were frequently alcoholics, and one of the biggest causes of death for teenagers was being stabbed.
"I'f I'd done that, I'd have got a clip round the ear...." - well ho do you know that; unless you'd done it or knew someone that done it....! |

I am 16, and not involved in the justice system.
my parents are both accomplished people, and are good people
i think that loads of kids are not looked after well by there parents, influencing how they behave.
but by the time you are a teen, you should know what is right and wrong. |

In the nineties, rebellious gay people who infiltrated the media, women, asians and blacks attacked the stereotypical white males who have been, and are still abandoning the country and their families in this country. Reap what you sew. leave this sh*t hole to the primitives.
THERE IS ONE THING WORSE THAN HAVING NO PARENTS, AND THAT IS HAVING BAD PARENTS. |
