I'll try to make this as uncomplicated as possible. My fiance has been on probation, his max out date is July 16. He got arrested on a warrant because he did not show up to court on January 28. He called his probation officer everyday for 2 weeks back in January to tell her he couldn't make it, and she never answered so he left messages. She never contacted him back, but now he is in jail for this. They won't give him a court date, so I have no idea how long he will be in. Does anyone know how long it normally is, and if they can have him in jail past his probation max out date?

JUST TO LET YOU KNOW I don't need you to tell me about "excuses". I called the probation officer and she never returned my calls as well. I know the judge could care less I was just telling the whole story.

This is why they have probation.
If he missed the date it was in violation of the probation agreement
When your finance stops giving lame excuses about calling and leaving
a message~~Believe me ~~the Judge has heard them all~~
The Judge will look at attitude and current behavior to see if he warrants
additional time or he might be given a break.
But I am sure he always has an excuse~~most parolees always have an excuse~~and judges don't like people who just don't tell the absolute truth |
