Where would you draw the line if this were to become a policy? The child who steals a pack of gum, should we kill em, the mother who runs a red light because she is late to get her daughter, should we kill her, the banker who defrauds us by a ponzi scheme should we kill them, a former president who allows torture should we kill him. and the list goes on.
This is not even all of the innocent individuals who are wrongly accused of crimes everyday. Our justice system may be flawed but it is certainly better than a primitive society that kills its own without offering help |

Really, there is no black and white when it comes to crimes. Yes, there are some people that will never straighten up and are a drain on society, but usually things aren't so easy.
As its been already said, where do you draw the line. What is minor to me, may not be minor to you. Who decides.
I deal with criminals everyday and most of them, I feel they dont' deserve to die. There are many many underlying issues causing crime. Unless you deal with you can't possibly understand.
So my view is this is a silly, unrealistic paint brush solution that will never happen anyway. |
